Crikey. I've only just got my breath back after that, but here's the poll for this week's questions. Our question of the week was the very first of the show, with Missing exclamation mark a good mix of clever disguise, kick yourself, and that quizzing classic of Westward Ho!

I really feel like the Beatle's sequence belonged in R1, I'm not sure as to what the order was supposed to be.
ReplyDeleteAlso a little point of contention on the AEIO sequence, the answer of "Has four of the same vowel in it" didn't seem right, especially since they were going to give "Boogaloo" as their answer. I guess it didn't amount to much, but seeing as the Gamesmasters only won by 2 points, it might have been crucial!
Yes, I was a little unsure about the sequence, other than "John, Paul, George and Ringo" being the way they're usually(?) listed. It's not alphabetical or age order, at least.
DeleteI noticed a similar thing on the AEIO sequence, as we'd made the same mistake at home (thinking there were four in each clue, missing the fifth E). Luckily our armchair guess of 'voodoo' dodged that problem, but it was interesting to see how it played out on the show.
